Volunteers delivered aid to one of the hottest spots on the front line

Lutsk volunteers delivered humanitarian aid to the Donetsk region, which was their "most emotional" trip due to its proximity to the conflict zone. 
This was reported on Facebook by the volunteer and co-founder of the Civil Movement "SVIDOMI", Mykhaylo Nakhod.

"On March 17, our volunteer team, the Civil Movement "SVIDOMI", delivered humanitarian aid to the Donetsk region. It was the most emotional trip, you could say "adrenaline-filled" because we were heading to areas close to the fighting in the Donetsk and Bakhmut directions. Despite frequent gunfire and explosions nearby, we remained calm because we worked together with our Volyn military," he wrote.

In one day, the volunteers traveled hundreds of kilometers and delivered family kits to civilians in 5 different locations and several settlements, including Chasiv Yar, located just a few kilometers from Bakhmut.

Also, several military units from Volyn are currently stationed in Donetsk. Therefore, the volunteers from Volyn also visited them and delivered necessary items and food products.

During a conversation with journalists from News agency "Konkurent", Mykhaylo Nakhod told a story that happened to them during their departure from Chasiv Yar. A group of military personnel traveling in a vehicle came under enemy artillery fire, causing the vehicle to overturn and injuring four soldiers. The soldier with the more severe injuries was immediately evacuated by medics, while the other three were transported to the nearest hospital by volunteers from the Civil Movement "SVIDOMI."

"We believe that with the coming of spring, we are getting closer to Victory, and therefore we are not slowing down and are already planning our next trips. 
Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!" added Mykhailo Nakhod.
